Privacy Notice

Last updated: 13 August 2026

This notice explains how WPbyAI handles information submitted through wpbyai.com during the private pilot. The current public site is a marketing, research, and manually reviewed pilot-intake service. It is not yet a general self-service account, source-upload, or production-site management service.

What we collect

When you submit a pilot request, we may collect:

  • your name, work email, company or role;
  • the project route, desired result, budget range, and timing;
  • a URL that you state you own or are authorized to work on;
  • technical context that you choose to include, such as WordPress, PHP, theme, editor, or plugin versions;
  • request metadata needed for security and troubleshooting, such as time, request identifier, IP-derived security signals, user agent, and server logs;
  • aggregate page and conversion events if analytics is enabled.

The public form is not intended for passwords, API keys, private customer data, payment-card data, source archives, database exports, host backups, or other sensitive material. Do not submit those items through the public site.

Why we use it

We use submitted information to:

  • review whether a project fits the current private pilot;
  • respond with a fit, hold, stop, or next-step decision;
  • understand demand, product boundaries, compatibility needs, and pricing assumptions;
  • protect the site, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and maintain records of consent;
  • meet legal obligations and resolve disputes where applicable.

Submitting a pilot request does not authorize WPbyAI to access, copy, change, deploy, or test a production website. Any later source, backup, URL-reconstruction, credential, or production-access workflow requires a separate scope, authorization, and controlled intake.

Service providers and international processing

The site may use infrastructure and security providers such as Cloudflare, hosting/build providers, analytics providers, email or CRM tools, and later project-processing infrastructure. These providers may process data in countries different from yours according to their own service terms and applicable data-protection arrangements.

We do not sell pilot-request personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, during a legitimate business reorganization, or to processors acting on our instructions.

Retention

Pilot requests are kept only as long as reasonably needed to review and respond, maintain security and project history, evaluate the pilot, comply with law, or establish and defend legal claims. Unaccepted requests and associated contact data are candidates for deletion or anonymization after the review and reasonable follow-up period. More specific retention periods will be published before self-service accounts or controlled file intake open.

Security

We use access controls and separate the public form from controlled project intake. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. If you accidentally submit a secret or private archive reference, contact us immediately through the contact page and rotate any exposed credential yourself.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of your personal information. Use the contact page and identify the pilot-request email and reference, if available. We may need to verify your identity and may retain limited information when required by law or security needs.

Children

The pilot is intended for adults acting for themselves or a business. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly solicit children’s personal information.

Changes

We will update the date and content of this notice when the public product, providers, data flows, or legal requirements materially change. A more complete product privacy policy must be approved before accounts, billing, source uploads, production connections, or managed care become generally available.
